Beth Israel Medical Center is a 1,368-bed, full-service tertiary teaching hospital that was founded on Manhattan's Lower East Side before the turn of the 20th century. Beth Israel originally was dedicated to serving a vulnerable population in that community. Now a century later, the Medical Center serves individuals and families from every walk of life throughout New York City and beyond.

Critical Care Units: Petrie	11 am to 9 pm
Critical Care Units: Kings Highway	11 am to 6:30 pm; 7:30 pm to 9 pm

Petrie Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Open visiting hours around the clock limited to immediate family
Visitors to the critical care units are requested to limit their visits to 15 to 30 minutes at a time
