Executive Health Examinations at Beth Israel Medical Center
Beth Israel Medical Center, a tertiary care healthcare facility in Manhattan, proudly offers an outstanding executive health program with several packages to choose from to better meet the needs of today’s executives. Good health is imperative for work performance and productivity. Thus taking care of one’s health is part of taking care of one’s business.

The program places a special emphasis on preventative cardiology. The physical packages include at a minimum a heart scan using Electro Bean Tomography (EBT) at Inner Imaging, a state of the art heart scan facility. The EBT estimates calcium score – an indicator of the level of plaque in arteries. Coronary artery disease can be identified in its early stages, about fifteen to seventeen years before symptoms occur. A comprehensive history and physical is performed at the same facility by physicians affiliated with premier academic institutions such as, the Albert Einstein College of Medicine or Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. The physicians guide each executive through their efforts to improve his/her health status, and will provide expedited access to specialty care, if needed, at our outpatient facility at Union Square- 14th Street.

The evaluation takes a few hours for the basic package, but could include an overnight
Stay in a luxury VIP hospital suite if more extensive testing is needed.

A baseline package includes:
• A comprehensive History and Physical
• An Electrocardiogram, Spirometry, Laboratory Studies
• EBCT Scan (heart) –a screening test for early detection of heart disease

Executives receive the following information shortly after the visit:
• Personal report summarizing the results and recommendations
• Electronic file of the scans/reports
