Summary:
This research investigates the effects of genetic make-up on body mass and obesity.
Criteria for Participation:
Individuals of all ages who are severely overweight (usually more than 300 lbs) are eligible for this study. An accurate measurement of height, weight, and percent body fat will be taken. In addition, a blood sample will be drawn. The entire procedure lasts approximately one hour.
Benefits and/or Compensation
Each partipant receives a $50 honorarium.
